Jess Crowe
Jess is a senior physiotherapist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where she has been the project coordinator of the allied health prehabilitation service, and the senior physiotherapist in the Extended Recovery Unit.
She always strives for multidisciplinary patient centred care and Peter Mac has given her the opportunity to combine her passion of acute cardiorespiratory physiotherapy and oncology. Empowering patients through education and exercise is another goal for Jess, and the prehabilitation role has allowed her to not only do this but to get first-hand experience in implementing evidence-based care into clinical practice. Jess is a level one lymphoedema therapist and is halfway through her Masters of Philosophy at the University of Melbourne where she is evaluating the implementation of the allied health prehabilitation service at Peter Mac.
