My name is Deborah Maher. I am 54 years old, married with 2 adult children. I am a peri operative nurse at Shepparton private hospital. My husband and I had just become empty nesters at the beginning of 2020 with both of our children moving interstate to pursue their careers and studies. So we were looking forward to more travel and financial freedom. Then the covid pandemic hit and our family was dealt the cruel blow of 2 cancer diagnosis. So began mine and my families cancer journey during a pandemic
