Enormous progress has been made in the realm of vaccination against COVID-19. This overview will give context to vaccine use and response in overseas cancer cohorts compared to healthy cohorts. The types of vaccine response (humoral, T cell) will be discussed, as well as potential differences according to type of cancer and age. Waning of immunity and need for a 3rd priming dose and the current ATAGI approval criteria will also be presented. The SerOzNET study, being run by Monash Health/Monash University, supported by Cancer Australia, will be presented. With > 400 patients enrolled, preliminary demographic characteristics will be shown.
