To improve rural access to cancer care, outreach services have been conducted as a routine in the olden days. Since the formation of RCCs, many services became available closer to home for many regional communities. However, rural communities continued to miss out. Telehealth models have significantly improved their access and future initiatives need to focus on models of care as part of Government policies.
